Society for Human and Environmental Development (SHED) has been working in partnership with different stakeholders in the project cycle management- from needs assessments to actual implementation on grounds. We believe that engaging communities, government line departments and other stakeholders result in sustainable development which keeps benefiting the target communities after closing out of the projects. Social mobilization is one of our cross cutting themes which ensures partnership with primary stakeholders at the community level and coordination with line departments & other relevant stakeholders further strengthen the partnership approach for sustainability. SHED signs MoUs, ToRs, contracts and terms of partnership with various stakeholders ranging from line departments to individual consultants for specific assignments with integrated approach to ensure quality programming. The program implementation is not possible without partnership and technical and financial support from donor agencies. SHED has so far been able to make partnership with UN agencies, international and national donors, local philanthropies and GoP (State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan) for various projects under different thematic areas. The organization is striving hard to expand its partnership with other donors and key stakeholders in the humanitarian and development contexts for viable solutions of problems being faced by communities.
